My top tips for gaining work experience

Gaining work experience is what majority of teenagers now have to do in Britain as it's the perfect way to introduce yourself into the world of work without actually committing to something full time.
My tips
1. Use an online browser: google, bing, explorer, use them all. Don't just look at the first page of options. Go through multiple pages and see if you can spot a website that offers work experience or a website that host work experience placements. If you haven't found anything try altering what you are typing in the search engine box. Put the subject your interested in followed by work experience followed by your school year.
For Example
Law work experience year 10
Medical work experience year 11
2. Find the websites of the companies you would like to work for in the future, or companies that you want to find more information about. Find their email and compare a small neat email explaining why you are contacting and what you can offer them and what they can offer you. If you need help with the letter comment below and I will create a blog on how to write up a work experience letter.
3.Go into the shop and ask the manager tell them why you would want to work there and be very persuasive with your language, if they say they don't offer work experience brush off the bad encounter and find a new shop and ask around.
!Here are a few ideas!
Local gym or sports facilities
Football or sports clubs
Cake shop or cafe
Law chambers
Your favourite car brands
Your primary school
Publishing House
Retail
